BARKCODE™ - How We Got Started

Our Standard Poodle Syrah can tell you just how BARKCODE™ started:

My name is Syrah and this is my story.

I was born to a litter of five siblings, all my brothers and sisters were adopted by the time they were 8 weeks old except me, I was the only one not yet adopted. I was 12 weeks old when some really nice people came to visit me. The very first thing these new people did was to get down on the floor on their hands and knees and talk to me like I was a baby! Well, I really liked that because I understand baby talk better than grown up talk. I ran right over to these strangers and I just jumped all over them, I licked their faces, I bit at their noses and they did not even seem to mind it! Wow I thought, these new people are even giving me kisses, I think I will just have to go home with them! And so I did. We all live happily in a warm and loving home in California and my parents tell me that I inspired them to create BARKCODE™. I think the designs we make are fun, cute, they help keep me safe and they are funny too. Our designs make me bark a lot and that makes me feel good! Oh, I almost forgot, the little guy that is next to me in the photo above is my little brother Spago, he is a bit of a brat and he thinks he’s tougher than I am. Thank you for letting me tell you how BARKCODE™ began with me Syrah, and my parents who are crazy in love with their pets! Oh, yeah, and Spago too!
